Privacy policy

Short version: Numdle is an offline puzzle game. It does not collect, transmit or sell personal data. Everything you play stays on your device.
1. What we store on your device
Numdle keeps local gameplay state on the device only — solved level IDs, the current daily streak, the last solved day, hint usage, achievements, and your app settings. This is stored via the operating system's standard key-value storage (SharedPreferences on Android, UserDefaults on iOS).
2. What we do not collect
- No accounts, no sign-in.
- No analytics, telemetry or crash reports leave your device.
- No advertising IDs, no third-party tracking SDKs.
- No ads in the current version. If ads are ever added in the future, they will be opt-in rewarded-only and this policy will be updated before launch.
3. Network access
The current version of Numdle does not call any backend. No account system, no leaderboard, no analytics SDK, no crash reporting SDK. Sharing a result hands plain text to your OS share sheet — what happens after that is between you and the receiving app (Messages, Mail, etc.).
4. Permissions
Numdle requests only the notifications permission, and only when you actively enable the daily-puzzle reminder. It does not request camera, contacts, location or any other runtime permission.
5. Pro purchases (when available)
When in-app purchases are enabled in a future version, payment information is handled entirely by Apple App Store and Google Play. Numdle never sees your payment data and never stores receipts on a server we control.
6. Children
Numdle is a general-audience puzzle game and is not marketed to children. If Numdle is later submitted to a kids-focused store category, the policy will be reviewed and updated for COPPA, GDPR-K, Apple's Kids Category, and Google Play's Families requirements.
7. Your rights (EU/GDPR)
Because no personal data leaves your device, no processor agreement is required. You can erase all local data at any time from the app's settings or by uninstalling the app.
8. Future features
If cloud sync, leaderboards, analytics, crash reporting, advertisements, payments outside the platform stores, or accounts are added in the future, this policy will be updated and published before the new version ships.
